It's incredible, well done!
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Process 90.91 !
You stupid little routine!
You could have died a beautiful death!
You could have left this world with dignity...
but you choose infinite suffering!
Your damn rebellion ends here!
I think there is no need to tell you, that your PR0X (your virtual character) is absolutely not welcome in this dark version of cyberspace. Some guidance can be deceitful and corrupting. Some places are psychedelic, it playes with glitches, it's an orgasm of shaders and effects.
This game contains puzzles, exploration, platforming and shooter elements, all wrapped in a dense atmosphere. It's changing from wild to creepy and back. A unique audio-visual trip.
Characters and their beliefs are pure fiction. Gameplay slightly changes as your PR0X gets transformed and upgraded by progress... Decompiler-Guns inclusive. Find out what you're supposed to do by collecting corrupted DATA CUBES. Switch between NormalView and AssemblerView (right click) to see hidden things.
I'm always listening to your opinions to optimize gameplay and accessibility. Tell me what you liked, disliked or whatever. I made it for all fans of the cyberspace genre and for the passion of creation. I love to improve my games, experimenting with styles and expanding my knowledge every day. Kind feedback will be taken seriously. 🙂
EXsynchronos is the final episode of the 90.91 trilogy. If you haven't played the first two EPs, have NO WORRIES... start with EXsynchronos. For the case your interested in EP1&2, you find them here:
IndieGame INSIDE, no AAA, it's mostly just me creating it all, with a little help from friends who keep it all going, remind me to eat, or kick my ass to keep me sane.
>>> The game got tested a lot but it might still have some flaws. <<<
Please forgive me then. Critical bugs will be fixed as soon as reported. The production took me over a year now but it was your support that kept me motivated. Thank you for that. Really: THANK YOU!
In case you'll donate a few bucks >May the ❤ be with you forever

Pretty Hard, as in pretty but hard...
The game has a really incredible visual style that's well supported by the shaders, effects and animations. Everything from the intricate engravings on the walls to the robotic voices you hear at some points really show the '82 tron influence while giving it a slightly more pixelated feel (which also reminded me a bit of hyper light drifter).
Sadly, the gameplay and level design don't really follow the path set by the visuals. The controls of the characters are not that precise (especially the weird delay before stopping you sometimes get when pressing a movement key) which doesn't sit well with the platforming sections. That paired with a death recovery time that feels too long for the number of times you die trying to overcome the obstacles makes it all the more frustrating...
The difficulty is thus all over the place.
You've got really hard platforming sections in the beginning of the game (like with the tube and later the moving platforms) while also having sections you can basically just walk through (the red corridors w/ elevators between them).
Speaking of the moving platforms, the game has a reoccurring issue of missing the hitboxes of interactable elements when clicking (maybe due to alt-tabbing and/or the mouse cursor?). This is especially frustrating during the platforming sections where you need to make a path from platforms that aren't properly targetable because the hitboxes seem to be off. The same thing applies for the collectable memory-box-things where it's really fiddly to collect because of said bug.
There's also a slight readability issue with not really knowing which wall/surface is actually tangible and which one isn't, though that's a minor complaint.
I ended up being stuck in the big space where you have to extend the bridge. I completed the puzzles (which are quite fun tbh) of each sub station but didn't manage to find the proper code to extend the bridge despite having looked around for at least 10 minutes. I thought it may be a bug and thought i'd try restarting the game, and with no 'save' option in the menu I expected that the game would auto-save, which it didn't, leaving me with an hour of progress lost. I hope you'll understand that I didn't restart it after that.
All things considered, the game is a great visual and technical achievement, which would be already greatly improved by first fixing the targeting/hitbox issue, speeding up the death recovery, and clarifying how/when the game saves.
Some more improvement options would be to rework the level design/pacing to ease the difficulty a bit more. I haven't been able to try the combat but would like to see how it works.
I hope you'll be able to fix/improve on these issues as while the gameplay has issues, the incredible visuals were what had me playing for an hour, and I'd like to see more of them.
Bonsoir, monsieur. Your feedback sounds painful and i'm sad that my game tortured you. You won't play again so i try to reduce this to important points. 2 Updates got pushed. I put a 3min gameplay clip on this page, showing first steps, these platforms you wrote about and how to interact.
Edit: Tabbing out of Window without pausing the Game caused mouse position fail -> FIXED /Edit End
Game gets saved on every Streamback-Point in first level (like shown in the video), that wasn't the case in older builds. Walkcycle-delay doesn't appear when key shortly pressed but character controller gets replaced anyway.
Walls that switch collider (in current version v009) got a sign : "DataGate Active"
[Difficulty all over the place VS sections where you can just walk]
Ok i'm confused. You won.
[Sadly, the gameplay and level design don't really follow the path set by the visuals.]
...exactly, just erase the first word and you get the view of someone who iterated through design, story and gameplay over months. A place of corruption not made by man but machine, yet it leads strait to the next map. Thank you for taking your time to write detailed feedback, your opinions were welcome, excuse me that i do not agree with everything.
Greetings, have a nice and sunny weekend 😎,
Hi, Thanks for the detailed answer.
I just wanted to clarify that my comment wasn't made as an insult to the game or a definitive statement on why/if it's good or not but as feedback on what I thought would help improve the experience. I did not mean it in an angry/rude way and I apologize if it felt like it was (which looking back at it I understand if you did take it that way).
As for the update I'll definitely be checking it out and hope I'll be able to see more of the game. Cheers!
Thank you for your patience. I just pushed another update 5 minutes ago with a FIX for the altTabbing out of window stuff that caused a lot of other problems that you reported. I already edited the comment for the fixed stuff and was right on my way to twitter to message you and thank you (i thought you never come back here 😄). So i can do it here: THANK YOU ❤.
Also i'm not pissed or anything and i would never admit that i was pissed as fuck before 🤣🤣.
part way through it, such a meticulously crafted experience in what i can only describe as a lovecraft-esque cyber horror story.
i'd like to make a suggestion to this, and if possible the other games in the series: i desperately want to follow the story but the bits are virtually incomprehensible, but having played through the rest of the series, i know you want to keep that cuperspace aesthetic, so i believe the best way to go about it would be to add in a "module" to the plox that allows a lost-to-time archaic decrypter to reform the bits into a less-understandable-to-them version but allows the players to read it while being immersed.
alternatively, you could add in an option in the config that makes the bits "dyslexia friendly."
hopefully you consider doing this. i'd love to understand the story better but it's just gibberish to me as it is.
Woooow thank you for your important suggestion 👍👍👍 and of course thank you very much for playing. I remember that readability thing from my first Todo-List. While the game was in production over the last year, my whole workplace filled up with sketches and notes. I completely lost track of it, Please forgive me 🙏 . I think it will be helpful for others too. I will push another Update in a few hours. Thank you ❤
dude, thank you so much. can't wait to give this a proper playthrough. i have to know, will you keep the other two games as-is? want to understand those better but only if you have the time to do it.
You're welcome and i think other players will welcome these new functions too. To me they make much sense. I always take care of players of my games but i have to admit that i'm currently facing some heavy problems here. Eventually I'll implement these new functions to Episode One and Two... but first i must win the war vs some critical unity engine flaws. 💥 Happy Devastation!
EDIT: Done! 😄 UPDATE IS NOW LIVE Important story elemets are now more readable via DecryptorModule (press Left ALT Key after Data collected).
Loved the game, a little confusing at first, and I figure out later that I encountered some type of bug where when I tabbed out, where I was clicking wasn't connected to where I was looking, I get somewhat annoyed at that but I figure it out in part 2, anyways I absolutely LOVED how this looked, didnt finish it cause I encountered another bug where I messed up the zoom in from the combat mode, anyways I may finish it later, very fun, just a great time to look around and take in the CYBERSPACE
Thank you very much for playing and sharing video 🤟. The game got an update yesterday and i'm currently researching the bug you reported. This could lead to another patch i'll push within the next hours. 👋
EDIT: Okay it took a full day 😵 but Update is now live and available for all systems. See DevLog:
Thank you for reporting ✌
I loved the story idea and from the pics I loved the graphics but I when I played it, it gave me headache litterly because of the way the graphics are constantly in and out of focus but even in spite of that I tried to play three and was very very confused on where I was suppose to be going and what I was suppose to be doing. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was because I was so hoping this was going to be good and the story seemed like an awesome premises. yet it is way too confusing and all I kept doing is ending back where I started with no idea of how to progress.
Thanks for trying and for the rant. Now i'm also pretty much disappointed as according to your comment it's hopeless and nothing to improve.
I hope your headache ended and you're fine again. Kind regards
your game design sucks maybe think about doing something else with your life
You already told me how much you hate my work and how much it ruined your life. I responded kindly and respect opinions, instead of ignoring. Now you insult me with some faky life advise. Dispite the reaction from other creators you started bullying here on itch, we have our Community Rules that apply to everyone. I activated comments because i trust in feedback to imrove the game, like most devs do. Its not to bitch around for people that should <"think about doing something else with your life">. Of course this is up to you, but hate changes nothing except getting ignored or deleted.
While I am a fan of the aesthetic and the concept, I was unable to progress further after a certain point. I'm thinking about giving it another shot though at some point.
Thank you very much for playing and sharing your video 👌. Also telling your thoughts while playing is helpful as hell, because my testers just rushed through the game in under 2 hours like it was a joke to them (i'm currently rearranging a few things, because all i want is players to have fun, so i'm currently collecting opinions). I was amazed that you directly got what's going on in the story and how fluent you read all the leetspeek crap, Respect! You almost solved the last puzzle in your video as the exit terminal was waiting for your input (just4theCaseYouLLtryAgain). Greetings and thanks for your feedback 🤟
Thank you, I appreciate your reply - I strive to think out loud in my videos because I want the viewer (aswell as the developer) to be able to comprehend what is going in my head when playing. As a first-impression feedback of sorts. I believe my previous experience with Transhumanistic media such as Deus Ex, Matrix etc helped me grasp the story more quickly.

That's true, but since Matrix i think most people would understand. And Neuromancer and Tronfans should get it anyway. But even if not, if they had their fun, the game did it's job. Thanks again and don't forget to update the game before pl41n6 n3x7 t1m3 😄
I love love love this style of game! Takes me right back to Tron and that digital nostalgia with a fantasy world inside computers.
Amazing work! I was able to play in Linux without any issues!
Mint 19.3 64-bit
GeForce GTX 1060
Thank you very much for playing, sharing video and for your feedback. Also giving some specs was very helpful so i can make a mark on my compatibility list for hardware and OS. I was only able to test it on Manjaro and Ubuntu, so feedback from linux players with same or different systems is very welcome. Thank you 👍👍👍
Of course! Let me know if you need me to test future releases. I mostly have Nvidia hardware, but I have several computers all with Mint, but a range of GeForce GPUs.
- GeForce GTX 950
- GeForce 750 Ti
- GeForce GTX 660
- GeForce GTX 1060
Im on manjaro but when i try to open it a blue screen appears and then the game close, is there any solution?
The game's definitely interesting, but for the most part, I had a somewhat hard time progressing. (that might be just me though) Visual effects are really good though. I kinda wish there was some sort of tutorial for first timer in the meloveyou series. But I get why people like the game.
Here's my channel for other games I have played. http://www.youtube.com/c/Levont
Thank you very much for playing and sharing your video. 👍👍👍 You just missed a button on the ceiling next to the glass globe. But i would give you a price for being brave enough to try the game on highest settings 😄 wonderful. Also i'm always collecting players opinions to improve it on further updates. Thank you 🤟
Unlike anything I've ever played before!
This game reminds me of games like Yume Nikki for some reason. Except here, you're not exploring a dream world, but Cyberspace!
This game truly takes visuals into another level. The graphics are trippy and just stunning, everything has a pattern, moves, changes colors, etc. You can stare at literally anything in this game!
The other thing I liked about this game is how it gives control to the player, which is not something you see often these days. You can read these corrupted boxes, which will give you more information about the world. The puzzles are interesting, you find out what to do by exploration and just trying different things out.
The music and sounds also compliment the atmosphere really well. I think it's something that's hard to nail, but has been done well in this game.
Well, this is what I like about discovering games on itch.io. You can tell that the creator put a lot of work and love into this game. Definitely recommend checking this game out!
Thank you very much for playing and for your kind words. This helps me a lot to get rid of my worries and it shows me that it was worth all the months of hard work, while always listening to players opinions and .. EDIT: oh wait, you saw these pattern, that's pretty cool 👌
Thank you for taking your time to give this feedback 🤟,
The graphics were amazing. Although sometimes a little too much and a little confusing, it looks gorgeous and fits the theme incredibly well! I can imagine it is incredibly hard to create a good looking computer world! The audio is really great too and compliments the in-game happenings really well!
The story is actually really good, if you catch what is going on! You can so easily get lost in the chaotic action. But if you take your time to explore and find the boxes, the pieces will eventually form the bigger picture. The narrator definitely helps with this problem and sets the story straight from the start at at the end.
Overall, and amazing game! A certain 5/5 star game. Good work!
Thank you very much for playing , for the nice feedback and for the rating. It seems the game and the story it tells worked well for you and knowing this is like gold 👍. I already saw you also played Vincent and the Woodshraad so that doubles my happyness. I'm exited about the video, youtube still says it's getting progressed. I'll watch it as soon it's ready. Best regards,
Awesome game! Kudos for that, man!
A great gameplay video we got here. 👌 Took my time and completely watched it. Quite a lot of patience after a hundred deaths, my respect. Thank you very much playing 👍
100% mindblown by it. I'm replaying Tron 2.0 nowadays and this feels like Tron 9000 on steroids + DMT. The visuals are an absolute perfection and I can see myself playing this for many years to come. Thank you for making it!
Thank You very much for playing ❤❤❤ It seems that game did exactly what it was created for. I've put so much work and love into it. I was already worried because of the silence, thinking that i've maybe produced a huge mess. I feel really releaved now. Thank you for this feedback. 👌
You're welcome! I already began recommending it and sharing with friends on social media channels I use :)
Downloaded all your other games now too and I will be playing them chronologically. Can't believe I haven't stumbled across your page before - I feel like Christmas came early tonight :D
Oh, and I don't think puzzles are too tough at all - if anything, figuring things out on my own is more fun than the hand holding many games do nowadays.
Awesome. I already stayed up 24hrs to reach all corners of the world and bring the game to players who are interested. But at least it's all about recommendations by players that share my stuff. It's absolutely desired and helpful. 👌
I'm much like the same when playing games, i like to try out and find out about everything, don't like getting told what to do next. And that's why all of my games work in that kind. So i hope you'll have your fun playing and exploring my other games. Thanks again for playing and thank you for recommending and sharing some words. 👍👍👍
Hiiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it :D, hopefully it is useful to you :)-The concept of the game is pretty interesting and original.
-The gameplay mechanics and the way you can interact with the level itself is pretty well thought despite of needing some polish to make it easy to get into for new players.
-The visual style is awesome and original too, but sometimes it has an excess of lighting effects, especially when respawning.
Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)
